Biku stocks 56 occasional chairs, from fully upholstered tubs with no visible frame to teak and leather on welded metal, including 9 on a swivel base. An occasional chair has two jobs that pull against each other: comfortable enough that somebody chooses it over the sofa, and small enough that it does not read as a second sofa in the corner. A swivel answers the chair that has to face the television and the conversation at once. Most are ordered in rather than held in stock.
