Juno Orb Sofa Chair - Moon Rock

The Juno Orb Sofa Chair in Moon Rock is upholstered in a 72% polyester and 28% acrylic blend, on a swivel base. The fabric is rated 25,000 on the Martindale scale. It measures 97cm wide and 87cm deep.

The acrylic content is doing real work in this blend. Acrylic is what gives a fabric a wool-like hand without the cost or the moth risk, and at 28% it is enough to change how the surface feels rather than being a token addition.

A swivel base turns an accent chair into a usable one. In a corner it lets the chair face the room, the window or the television without being dragged around, which is the difference between a chair people sit in and one that stays decorative. Be realistic about the 25,000 Martindale rating: that is a domestic specification, well suited to a bedroom corner or a reading nook and less so to the chair everybody heads for.
