Winona Occasional Chair

The Winona Occasional Chair is a rounded swivel chair in Caramel Latte, 95cm wide and 89cm deep. The arms curve in around you rather than sitting square, and the seat is foam with a medium profile. No assembly is required.

A swivel base sounds like a gimmick until you live with one. In the corner of a living room it means the chair can face the television, the fire or the conversation without being dragged around, and in a bedroom it turns a reading chair into something you can pivot towards a window.

The proportions are generous. At 95cm wide and 89cm deep this is a chair to curl up in rather than perch on, and the cocooning arms give somewhere to rest a knee or an elbow. Caramel Latte is a warm tone, forgiving of the marks a pale chair would show. The covers are not removable, so cleaning is a spot job rather than a machine wash, worth knowing for a chair likely to see coffee.
