Flo Occasional Chair - Moon Rock - Natural Ash

The Flo Occasional Chair in Moon Rock is a curved upholstered form on oversized solid ash legs, 98cm wide and 84cm deep. Its polyester and acrylic blend is rated 25,000 on the Martindale scale. The legs ship knocked down.

Moon Rock is a soft grey neutral, the colourway to choose when the chair should be a shape in the room rather than a colour in it. Against natural ash the contrast is minimal, so what you notice is the silhouette: a large curved volume sitting on two heavy timber pillars.

The abrasion rating is the figure to weigh. At 25,000 Martindale this is a domestic specification, well suited to a bedroom corner or a reading chair and less so to the chair everybody in the house heads for. Worth knowing because the same chair is offered in fabrics rated several times higher, so the choice of colourway is also a choice about durability. Two heavy legs mean this is not a chair to drag; lift it.
