Warm dark timber, across walnut, smoked ash, tobacco ash, cacao and other deep timber finishes. Not every piece here is walnut - each one is grouped by the finish recorded on the product itself.

Dark timber does the opposite of a pale floor or a light oak top: it absorbs light rather than bouncing it, so a room reads closer, quieter and more formal. A single dark dining table or sideboard will set the tone of a space on its own, which is why these pieces tend to be the one dark thing in an otherwise light room.

The grain still shows through on all of them. These are stained and sealed timber finishes, not paint, so the piece reads as wood first and as a colour second.
