Uyuni Single Wick Pillar

The Uyuni Single Wick Pillar is a flameless LED candle in Nordic White, measuring 10.1cm across and 15.2cm high. It runs on two C batteries for around 1000 hours and has a built-in 6 hour timer. There is no flame and nothing burning.

This is the middle of the pillar range and probably the most generally useful size. At 15.2cm high it has enough presence to anchor a mantel or a dining table on its own, without the height of the taller pillars that need a bit more space around them.

The built-in timer is the feature people end up appreciating most. Switch it on once in the evening and it repeats at the same time the following day, so the candlelight simply happens rather than being something you remember to arrange. A thousand hours from a pair of C batteries means that runs for months. The obvious appeal is safety, no open flame near curtains or children, but there is a second one: none of the combustion by-products a burning candle puts into a closed room.
