Resin weave is the practical answer to wanting a woven look outdoors. Natural rattan or cane looks right for about one season in Australian weather before sun and rain break it down, whereas resin holds its colour and structure while reading almost identically from a metre away.

Aluminium underneath is the other half of that equation.
