The Theo Dining Chair in Woodland is 52.5cm wide, 57cm deep and 78cm high, upholstered over the seat and back. At 78cm the back is low, which keeps the sightline across a table open. At 52.5cm wide six fit around a long table without touching.

A low back is an underrated feature in a dining chair. Tucked under a table, a set of tall chairs reads as a row of panels and visually fills a small room; at 78cm these sit below the table's own sightline and disappear.

Chair width decides how many people actually fit, and it is the number nobody checks. Allow 60cm of table edge per person as comfortable and 55cm as tight. At 52.5cm these leave room either side at the comfortable spacing.

The caveat is the trade for that low back. It supports the lower back and not the shoulders, which is right for a meal and wrong for a chair somebody will sit in for three hours.
