Tamar Vessel Medium

The Tamar Vessel Medium is 39cm long, 38cm wide and 53cm high, a tall ceramic planter in a matte white finish. The sculptural, structured form makes it a floor piece rather than a tabletop one. No assembly is required.

At 53cm high this is the tallest vessel in the range and it should be treated as furniture rather than as an accessory. Standing on the floor beside a chair or in a corner, it lifts a plant to about side-table height, which is where foliage reads best in a seated room.

A tall, narrow-shouldered ceramic form is also structurally demanding, which is why the wall thickness makes it heavy. That weight is useful: a tall pot with a light base tips the first time a plant leans, and this one will not.

Use it with something upright rather than trailing. A cascading plant on a 53cm vessel hides the form entirely, and the form is what is being paid for here.
