A drawn line on hand built ceramic follows the form rather than sitting perfectly straight, so it traces the small irregularities of the making instead of concealing them, and that is the whole idea behind the signature.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAt 24 x 18cm this takes a reasonably substantial plant, and the extra couple of centimetres over the smaller pots in the range matters more than it sounds when you are trying to fit a root ball. Stoneware fired at high temperature is genuinely durable, so this is not a piece to keep for special occasions.
