Rialto Armchair

The white Rialto Armchair is a powder coated steel frame chair with an oatmeal upholstered seat cushion and armrests, sized 58 x 60 x 83cm. Its bent steel frame forms a geometric pattern that shows clearly against the pale finish. The shape is Scandi-inspired, streamlined and squared off.

A white frame makes a chair feel lighter than it really is. The bent steel pattern registers more here than it does in the darker colourway, because there is contrast between the frame and whatever happens to be behind it.

Oatmeal is a warm neutral, so this version leans softer and works nicely against timber decking, pale pavers or a rendered wall. Put a pair either side of a small table and you have a morning coffee spot. Do bear in mind that light upholstery asks a little more of you over the years than dark upholstery does.
