Relic arch Mirror

The Relic Arch Mirror is 82cm wide, 161.3cm high and 6.5cm deep, with a slim black frame and a softly rounded top. It weighs 16.07kg. The full-length proportion suits an entryway, a bedroom or a living space.

The slimness of the frame is the whole design decision here. At 6.5cm deep the frame reads as a drawn line around the glass rather than as a surround, so the mirror behaves as an opening in the wall instead of as an object hung on it.

That also makes it the easier arch to place. A heavy arched frame is a statement that the rest of the room has to answer; a slim one sits with timber, neutrals or a more dramatic scheme without insisting on any of them.

At 16.07kg it is a two-person job to position and it needs a proper fixing rather than a picture hook. That weight is published, which is worth noting, because most mirror listings do not state it and it is the first thing anyone hanging one needs to know.
