Ravello Linen Cushion

The Ravello Linen Cushion in natural is a 40 x 60cm cushion in 100% stonewashed linen with a chambray finish. The rectangular shape suits a lumbar position on a sofa or bed. Stonewashing gives it a soft, lived-in handle from the first day.

Stonewashing is the difference between linen that feels good immediately and linen you have to break in over a year of washing. The process softens the fibres before it reaches you, so the cushion has that relaxed, slightly crumpled quality straight out of the packaging.

Forty by sixty is a lumbar size, which makes it genuinely functional rather than purely decorative. It sits at the small of your back on a sofa, or across the front of a made bed where square cushions would stack awkwardly. Natural is the most flexible of the colours, close to undyed flax, so it works against white bedding, coloured throws and timber alike. The chambray finish gives the surface a subtle two-tone depth rather than a flat solid colour.
