dBodhi Outline Dresser 4 Drawers

The dBodhi Outline Dresser 4 Drawers is a 194cm chest in solid reclaimed teak on iron legs, with four spacious drawers. The silhouette is clean-lined rather than decorated. Wide and low rather than tall.

Drawers rather than doors is the decision this piece asks you to make. Drawers suit clothing, linen and anything you want to sort into layers; doors suit tall or awkward items and things you would rather stack. For a bedroom, drawers usually win.

At 194cm wide with only 70cm of height, this is unusually long for a four-drawer chest, which means each drawer is wide and shallow rather than deep. That is better for folded clothes, which stay findable rather than being buried. The minimalist silhouette keeps the reclaimed teak as the only visual interest, and sleek iron legs give it enough lift to avoid looking heavy. Grain and tone vary across the front, since the timber is salvaged.
