Oberon Crescent Storage Unit - White Grain Ash

The Oberon Crescent Storage Unit in White Grain Ash publishes its internal dimensions: 475mm wide, 400mm deep and 320mm high per shelf. The case is 120cm wide, 45cm deep and 75cm high. Shelves are adjustable and removable.

This is the only finish in the range that tells you what will actually fit inside, and the figures are the reason to read it before choosing any of them. A 475mm by 320mm opening takes dinner plates upright and most books; it will not take a tall decanter with the shelf in place, which is precisely why the shelves come out.

White grain ash is a treatment rather than a paint. The grain stays visible through a whitened finish, so the piece reads as timber rather than as a white box, and it lifts a dark dining room in a way a solid white lacquer would do more bluntly. Across a curved front the effect is subtle: you see the grain when you are close and a soft pale form from across the room.
