Mountain Drift Sofa - Copeland Hazel

The Mountain Drift Sofa in Copeland Hazel is a deep, low sofa in a warm hazel brown fabric, 260cm wide, 90cm deep and 75cm high. Softly curved arms and a segmented back and seat give it a relaxed, cushioned look. Kolbi rate it for commercial use, and it needs simple assembly on arrival.

This is a sofa for sinking into. The seat sits 40cm off the floor with 66cm of depth, which suits curling up with a book as much as sitting upright with guests. The rounded arms soften the overall block of the piece, so it never looks stiff, even in a tidy room.

Hazel is an easy brown to live with. It sits comfortably beside timber floors, linen and terracotta, and it hides the small marks of everyday use better than a pale fabric would. In a room that already leans warm it settles straight in; in a cooler, greyer scheme it becomes the piece that brings the warmth.
