Madrid Curve Right Chaise Sofa - Soft Wheat

The Madrid Curve Right Chaise Sofa in Soft Wheat is a 1350mm chaise module at 900mm deep and 720mm high. It terminates a run on the opposite side to the left chaise. The wrap-around back runs continuously through it.

Orientation on a chaise is worth more thought than on any other module, because a chaise projects into the room rather than sitting against a wall. Pointed the wrong way it obstructs the natural route through a space; pointed correctly it defines the edge of the seating area.

The simplest test is to stand in the doorway and decide which side you would rather walk past. In Soft Wheat the chaise also becomes the lightest large surface in the room, which catches the eye first, so the orientation decision is aesthetic as well as practical. The wrap-around back means the chaise still reads as part of the run rather than as an appendage bolted to one end.
