Madrid Curve Bed - Beige Chunky Boucle

The Madrid Curve Bed in Beige Chunky Boucle is an upholstered king bed, 232cm wide, 238cm deep and 109cm high overall. The curved bedhead wraps the top of the mattress rather than sitting flat behind it. It suits a room with space to walk around three sides.

The overall depth is 238cm, which is the figure to work with rather than the mattress size. A curved bedhead pushes the whole piece further off the wall than a flat one, and the 238cm here already accounts for that.

Upholstered bedheads carry sound as well as they carry light. In a room with hard floors and little else soft in it, the difference is audible, which is one of the quieter reasons people choose them.

The practical caveat is cleaning. A curved upholstered head collects dust along the top edge where a timber one would not, and it needs a vacuum brush over it every few weeks rather than a wipe.
