Lorne Ridge Table Lamp

The Lorne Ridge Table Lamp is 450mm in diameter and 610mm high, with a sculptural ceramic base in deep onyx and an oatmeal fabric shade. The cord is 1.8m in black. It ships assembled and takes one E27 globe up to 60W.

The Ridge is the wider and shorter of the two Lorne lamps, and the difference changes where each belongs. A 450mm base needs real surface around it, so this suits a console or a wide sideboard where the Shore's narrower footprint suits a bedside.

An oatmeal shade over an onyx base is a warmer pairing than ivory over black. The two tones sit closer together, so the lamp reads as one object rather than as a light source on a stand, which is the quieter effect of the two.

A flowing ceramic form at this diameter is difficult to fire without distortion, and slight variation between pieces is inherent to the process rather than a defect.
