Livorno Round Dining Tables-Warm Sand

The Livorno Round Dining Table in Warm Sand is a 120cm round top on a sculptural fibrestone pedestal. With no legs at the perimeter, chairs can sit anywhere around the edge, which is the practical case for a round table. It stands 75cm high.

Round tables change how a meal works. Nobody sits at the head, everyone is roughly the same distance from everyone else, and conversation tends to stay as one group rather than splitting in two down a long rectangle.

The base is the piece here. Fibrestone gives it real mass and a matte, stone-like surface, and the pedestal form keeps the visual weight low and central. Warm Sand is a soft neutral that works against paving, timber decking and render alike. At 120cm across this is a table for a smaller group, which suits a courtyard or a compact dining area better than a room built for entertaining crowds.
