The Livorno Luna Cafe Table in Mocha Terrazzo is 80cm square and 73cm high, on a pillar base, for outdoor use. At 73cm it is dining height, so it takes ordinary chairs rather than stools. The square top seats two comfortably and four at a squeeze.

An 80cm square table is the size cafes use, and for good reason. Two people eat at it properly, four can have a drink around it, and it fits a courtyard where anything larger blocks the way past.

The pillar base is what makes four possible. With nothing at the corners, chairs go anywhere around the edge rather than into fixed gaps, which is the whole argument for a pedestal at this size.

The caveat is edge load. A pillar table will tip if someone leans hard on one side with nothing on the other, so it is not the table to sit on the corner of, and it wants level ground more than a four-legged one does.
