Livorno Cafe Bar Table - White Speckle

The Livorno Cafe Bar Table in White Speckle is lightweight fibreglass on a tapered base, standing 104cm high with an 80cm square top. A deadmatt PU coating seals both top and base. It ships knocked down.

White at bar height is a confident choice outdoors, because a tall pale object is the first thing the eye finds in a courtyard. That is either the point or the problem, depending on whether you want the furniture to anchor the space or disappear into it.

The deadmatt coating is what makes it work in sun. Gloss white at this height would catch and throw light straight back at anyone standing at it; a flat finish absorbs instead, and the speckle gives the surface something to look at up close. Fibreglass keeps the weight down for a table that will be moved around for entertaining, though it is worth knowing the other colourway in this range is fibrestone rather than fibreglass.
