Lachlan Dining Armchair - Desert Sand

The Lachlan Dining Armchair in Desert Sand has a powder-coated iron frame and 100% PU upholstery, with a 445mm seat height and 455mm seat depth. Arms sit at 610mm and the back at 380mm. It arrives fully assembled.

Desert sand is the easiest of these to place, a warm pale neutral that will sit against oak, walnut or a stone-topped table without needing to be matched to any of them. Pale upholstery around a dining table is always a calculation, and polyurethane makes it a defensible one, since it wipes.

The back is low at 380mm above the seat, which is a deliberate choice rather than an economy. A low back on a dining armchair keeps sightlines open across a table and stops six chairs looking like a wall when the room is seen from a doorway.
