Kiki Wooden Pot
The Kiki Pot is 31cm square and 27cm high, with a wooden exterior and a rounded contemporary silhouette. The grain runs visibly across the surface. It is intended for indoor use.
Timber is an unusual material for a planter and it changes what the piece can hold. Wood and standing water do not coexist, so this belongs around a nursery pot rather than under one, with the inner container lifted out for watering.
The grain is the whole argument for choosing it. Against the flat greens of artificial foliage or the matt surface of a succulent, a visible timber figure gives an arrangement a second texture to read, which a ceramic pot in any colour cannot supply.
At 31cm across it is a floor or low-table piece rather than a shelf one. Timber reads heavier than it is, so a pot this size set high tends to dominate; on the floor beside a chair it settles.
