Indian Frying Spatula
These are old Indian frying spatulas, made from iron with wooden handles and originally used for cooking in oil. Each is a single salvaged utensil, so size, shape and finish vary from one to the next. Spatula A, C and D are listed separately.
Utensils that were used daily for years pick up a patina nobody can fake, and that is most of the appeal here. The iron has darkened and the handles are worn where hands went.
Hung on a kitchen wall, laid in a shallow tray or grouped with other old pieces, they read as a small collection rather than as cookware. They are decorative now, not cooking tools. If you have a particular spot in mind, check the photograph attached to each option, because they are not all the same length.
