Floyd Desk - Natural Ash

The Floyd Desk in Natural Ash is 180cm wide, 70cm deep and 78cm high, with drawers set into the case under the top. At 180cm it takes two screens, or one screen and a clear area to write on beside it. The legs are set in from the ends so a chair is not boxed in.
Desk width is usually the constraint people get wrong in the other direction: they buy small to fit the room and then work on a surface that is permanently full. At 180cm there is room for the screen, the keyboard and a notebook open beside them at the same time, which is the actual test.
At 70cm deep the screen can sit far enough back to be comfortable, and at 78cm high it takes a standard chair. That height is slightly above a dining table, so a dining chair will feel low at it.
The caveat is the drawers. They are shallow storage built into the thickness of the case, which suits paper, cables and pens. Files and folders will need somewhere else to live.
