Dockside Arc Dining Ensemble - Terracotta

The Dockside Arc Dining Table in Terracotta is 183cm wide, 83cm deep and 75cm high, built for outdoor use. The ends arc rather than squaring off, so a chair goes at each end without meeting a corner. It seats six at a comfortable spacing.

One hundred and eighty-three centimetres is the useful length for an outdoor table, because it seats six without needing the terrace a ten seater wants. The arced ends are what make both ends usable rather than decorative.

At 83cm deep it is narrower than an indoor dining table, which is correct outside: you want serving space without a table so wide that conversation across it stops working on a windy evening.

The caveat is weight and position. A cast outdoor table is heavy on purpose so it stays put, which means deciding where it lives before it is assembled rather than after, and lifting rather than dragging it on tiles.
