DINAH PINK CHECK SHORT PJ

The Dinah Pink Check Short PJ is a 100% cotton set in a large blush check, yarn dyed for softness. The top is oversized and buttons through, with a drop sleeve. Supplied in a Gingerlilly gift box.

Blush is a gentler choice than it might sound, because the check breaks the colour up across the fabric rather than presenting it as a block. The result reads soft rather than sweet, which is a different thing from pink sleepwear in general.

The shape is oversized but classic, so there is room to move without the set looking shapeless. A drop sleeve reinforces that relaxed line, sitting off the shoulder rather than on it. Yarn dyed cotton is consistently softer than printed fabric because there is no layer of pigment sitting on top of the weave, and it keeps getting softer with washing. The shorts are cut to a flattering length with an elastic waist and self fabric tie.
