dBodhiKnut Side Table

The dBodhi Knut Side Table combines a reclaimed teak top with a handwoven abaca body on an iron frame, weighing 3.7kg. Remove the top and it becomes a basket. Article code CKN3812.

At 3.7kg this is light enough to carry one-handed, which is unusual for a side table and genuinely useful. It moves to wherever a surface is needed, beside a chair one evening and next to the sofa the next, rather than being fixed in place.

The iron frame inside the woven body is what allows that lightness without sacrificing stability, since abaca alone would flex under weight. Like the larger Knut coffee table, the top lifts off to turn the base into storage, so it hides a stack of magazines or a throw while still functioning as a table. It also works as a low pouf. Suits a reading nook, a sofa side or a bedroom, and the woven texture keeps it from reading as merely functional.
