The dBodhi Karma Charcoal Low Dresser is a 200cm four-door sideboard in reclaimed teak and handwoven rattan, finished matte black on iron legs. The doors conceal spacious compartments. Low and long rather than tall.

Two metres of low, dark furniture does something specific to a room. It draws a strong horizontal line along a wall, which makes the space read wider and calmer, and it leaves the wall above completely free for art or a mirror.

At 75cm high it also works as a media unit under a wall-mounted television, or as a serving surface in a dining room. The rattan doors keep it from becoming a black slab, introducing texture across the front that catches light along the weave. Iron legs lift the case clear of the floor, which is both a visual lightening and a practical help when cleaning. Reclaimed teak underneath the finish means the grain still varies between panels.
