dBodhi Coco Queen Bed

The dBodhi Coco Queen Bed is handcrafted from reclaimed teak, with a headboard faced in handwoven coconut palm leaves. The design draws on Japanese furniture principles. Available in a range of sizes.

The headboard is where this bed spends its budget, and rightly so, since it is the only part of a bed frame you actually look at once the bedding is on. Handwoven coconut palm leaves give it a texture that reads as craft rather than manufacture.

The Japanese influence shows in the restraint. Low, horizontal and free of ornament, it lets the materials carry the piece rather than the shape, which is why it works in a minimal bedroom without feeling sparse. Reclaimed teak brings its own history to the frame, so patches and tonal variation are inherent. Worth noting the range comes in several sizes, so check you are ordering the one that matches your mattress.
