dBodhi Bucket Hanging Lamp

This dBodhi Bucket Hanging Lamp is the larger natural version, measuring 66cm across and 38cm deep, handwoven from rattan with a reclaimed teak top. Supplied as a shade only. The open structure diffuses light through the weave.

At 66cm across this is a genuinely large pendant, and scale is the reason to choose it over the smaller version. A shade needs to be proportionate to whatever it hangs above, and over a long dining table or a generous island a small pendant simply disappears.

The natural rattan finish behaves differently to the black. Undyed, the weave glows warmly when lit from inside, turning the shade itself into a light source rather than just a cover for one. That suits a room where you want soft ambient light rather than a defined pool. Note again that this is the shade only, so budget for the cord set and fitting. The handmade weave means the texture and pattern vary between pieces.
