dbodhi-barrel-hanging-lamp-1
dBodhi Barrel Hanging Lamp

This dBodhi Barrel Hanging Lamp is the tall natural version, 35cm across and 64cm deep in handwoven rattan with a reclaimed teak top. It is supplied as a shade only. The elongated form makes a strong vertical statement.

Sixty-four centimetres of drop is substantial for a shade this narrow, and the proportions are the whole point. It reads almost as a column of light rather than a lamp, which gives it presence out of proportion to its 35cm width.

That length needs ceiling height to work. In a standard room it will hang low, which is fine over a table or a bench but awkward in a walkway, so think about where it sits before ordering. Natural rattan lets light through the weave along the full drop, so the whole shade illuminates rather than just the opening at the bottom. As with the rest of the range this is the shade alone, without cord, fitting or globe.
