dBodhi Alpha Side Table

The dBodhi Alpha Side Table at 180cm is the longer of the two, standing 78cm high and 40cm deep on solid reclaimed twin teak beam legs. The length lets it work against a wall or freestanding in a room. Reclaimed teak top.

At 180cm long this is enough to divide a space rather than only line a wall. Placed freestanding behind a sofa in an open-plan room, it draws a line between the living area and whatever is behind it without blocking sightlines, which a bookcase or a screen would.

That only works because the twin beam legs look deliberate from every angle. A piece designed to sit against a wall usually has an unfinished back; this one does not, so it can stand in the open. The 78cm height puts the surface at standing height, comfortable for lamps, books and objects you reach for rather than lean down to. As with the rest of the Alpha range, the teak is reclaimed and worked using traditional techniques, so each piece differs.
