dBodhi Alpha Dining Table
The dBodhi Alpha Dining Table at 260cm pairs a handsome teak top with traditional solid reclaimed twin teak beam legs. The extra length over the shortest size gives more room per setting. One of four sizes in the range.
The step up from the shortest size in the range sounds marginal and is not. A modest gain in length across a table is roughly another place setting's worth of elbow room distributed along both sides, which is the difference between a comfortable dinner for ten and a cramped one.
That makes this the size to choose if you host regularly rather than occasionally. The twin teak beam legs carry the same visual weight as the shorter version, so proportionally they read slightly lighter under a longer top. The timber is reclaimed throughout, and dBodhi's construction follows techniques passed between generations of craftspeople rather than modern flat-pack engineering, which is why the joinery is part of what you are paying for.
