dBodhi Ace Side Table

The dBodhi Ace Side Table in the larger size is 55cm square and 55cm high, in reclaimed heritage teak with carved design surfaces. The square proportions make it as tall as it is wide. Solidly built for everyday use.

A cube proportion, equal in width and height, gives a side table a different character to a taller narrow one. It reads as a solid block rather than a pedestal, which suits a room with substantial upholstered furniture where a slender table would look underweight.

The extra width over the smaller version changes what it holds. At 55cm square there is room for a lamp and a book together, or a tray, rather than one item at a time. That makes it a better fit beside a sofa than beside a bed. The carved surfaces are the range signature, and because the teak is salvaged, each table carries its own history in the grain. It will age rather than deteriorate.
