Casa Suar Wood Tray

The Casa Suar Wood Tray is a long, shallow suar wood tray in black, measuring 100 x 22 x 5cm. The narrow shape suits the centre of a dining table or the length of an entry console. Use it for fruit, for serving, or as the place keys land when you walk through the door.

A metre of tray is a decisive thing to put on a surface. It draws a line down the middle and gives everything you set on it a reason to be there, which is how a long tray turns a cluttered console into something that looks arranged instead of abandoned.

At 5cm it is shallow enough that a bowl or a pair of candles still reads clearly and low enough to pass a serving dish across. It swaps roles easily, hors d'oeuvres for guests one evening, sunglasses and loose change the rest of the week.
