Carlo Barstool - Linen Grey - Black Metal

The Carlo Barstool in Linen Grey is 100% PU on a matt black iron frame, with a footrest at 225mm. The seat sits at 650mm and measures 460mm wide by 445mm deep. The fabric rates 20,000 on the Martindale scale.

A 650mm seat height is the standard for a kitchen bench rather than a bar, so measure your counter before ordering. The difference between bench and bar height is about 100mm and it is the single most common mistake made buying stools.

The footrest at 225mm is the specification people overlook and then live with. Feet unsupported on a stool at this height is what makes people fidget, and a rail at the wrong height is nearly as bad as none. Linen grey is a colour name on a polyurethane surface rather than a fibre; it wipes rather than washes, which around a kitchen bench is the right property. The black iron frame is visible rather than upholstered, which is what keeps the stool looking light under a bench.
