Binita Indian Wooden Bowl

The Binita Indian Wooden Bowl is a vintage carved bowl from India in black, once used for storing dry ingredients or making dough. Every piece differs in size and shape. Bowls A, B, D and E are offered, each with its own image.

There is a directness to old utility objects. Nobody was trying to make this beautiful. They were making something that would hold flour and survive being knocked about, and the shape that came out of that is honest.

In black it sits well against pale timber, stone or a white benchtop, where the outline does the work. Choose from the photographs beside each option, since what you see is the individual bowl that will be sent.
