Bennet Daybed
View By Appointment
The Bennet Daybed is 198cm long, 80cm deep and 62cm high, upholstered in White Bark at 93% polyester and 7% acrylic. Rolled arms and straight lines give it a more classical outline than the curved daybeds in the range. It arrives fully assembled.
This is the lowest daybed of the three and the longest, and that combination changes what it is for. A low back and a long seat suit lying down and reading; a taller daybed suits sitting upright against the arm. Choose by which of those actually happens in the room.
Rolled arms are the detail that lets a rectilinear piece read as soft. Without them a straight-sided daybed is a bench with upholstery, whereas the roll gives somewhere to put a head or an elbow and does the work a cushion would otherwise have to do.
The fabric rating and composition are both published here, which is worth saying plainly. It means the piece can be compared against another on more than a photograph, which is not true of every upholstered product in this catalogue.
