Two pillar bases carry the ripple texture the range is named for. The oval top has no corners to work around.

An oval at this length is a more sociable table than a rectangle of the same size. The curve pulls the end seats slightly inward, so the people at the far ends are turned towards the middle rather than facing down a corridor of table, and conversation carries across rather than along.

The ripple detail is worth understanding before choosing a room for it. It is a tactile finish rather than a visual one, and it reads properly only in raking light from a window or a low pendant. Under flat downlights the bases lose most of their texture and the table becomes a plain oval on two columns.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0914/4688/files/benjamin-ripple-oval-dining-table-natural-ash-195237.jpg?v=1746884617
