Benjamin Ripple Grand Marble Console - Matt White Marble - Matt Black Oak

The Benjamin Ripple Grand Marble Console has a Carrara marble top in a matt white finish over a base in matt black oak. It measures 151.6cm wide, 40cm deep and 80cm high. It arrives fully assembled.

Carrara is a named quarry rather than a generic description, which is the kind of specific worth paying attention to on a stone top. It is the grey-veined white marble most people picture when they think of marble, and here it is sealed with a matt resin instead of polished, so it absorbs light rather than reflecting it.

Black oak under white stone is a hard contrast and it is the whole point of this version. The base is where the name comes from: a ripple detail worked into the oak that reads as shadow rather than as pattern. At only 40cm deep the console is built to sit against a wall in a hallway or behind a sofa without taking floor space, and at 80cm high it lands where a lamp and a bowl for keys make sense.
