Granada Hourglass Side Table - Brique

The Granada Hourglass Side Table is shaped in an hourglass silhouette from durable fibreglass, measuring 41.5cm square and 60cm high. It's finished in Brique and sealed with PU for outdoor durability. A side table with a sculptural profile.

An hourglass form is doing two things at once. Visually it gives a small table a waist, which lightens what would otherwise be a solid column, and structurally the narrowed middle with flared top and base is inherently stable.

Fibreglass is the sensible material outdoors: it does not rot, rust or absorb water, and the PU sealer over it adds resistance to the sun that does most of the damage to outdoor furniture. Brique is a warm earthy red, which is a more confident choice than the greys and whites that dominate outdoor ranges, and it works particularly well against greenery. At 60cm high it stands taller than a typical side table, which suits it to sitting beside a lounge chair with a taller arm.
