It measures 67cm wide, 62cm deep and 81cm high. It ships knocked down, so set aside a few minutes to assemble it.

Most office chairs are engineering exercises in mesh and plastic. This one is furniture that happens to be used at a desk, which makes it a better fit for a study or a bedroom corner where a task chair would look industrial and out of place.

Be clear about what it is. It sits on four fixed angled legs rather than a gas lift and castors, so it is a chair for a few hours of writing or reading rather than a full working day at a screen. What it does offer is a genuinely durable fabric at 50,000 Martindale, described by the supplier as commercial grade, and a low back with curved arms that make it comfortable to sit sideways in. The spider legs angle outwards, which is where the stability comes from.

The Daisy Spider Leg Office Chair in Ebony Weave is 67cm wide, 62cm deep and 81cm high, upholstered on a splayed four-leg base.
